The WRT110 comes with Linksys’ new wireless enhancing technology called RangePlus. This is the successor of the company’s SpeedBooster. The main difference is that SpeedBooster works only with proprietary adapters so that it is able to offer potential gain in throughput and range. The RangePlus, on the other hand, works with any 802.11n-compatible wireless adapter. If your PC or laptop comes with an 802.11n wireless adapter, you will enjoy near 802.11n throughput speed with the WRT110. The WRT110 also uses similar Web interface as the previous models. The main difference lies in the fact that this router is more responsive. It also comes with a few new features. It also supports all available wireless encryption from WEP to WPA and WPA2, as well as Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service.
